50 Book Challenge Update I didn't think I would have the time to squeeze in any more books before the end of the year, but low and behold I've read two more since the last post.
The first was Tales of Beedle the Bard by J.K. Rowling. It was quick little read of what were, essentially bedtime stories that were told you the young wizards and witches of the Harry Potter world. My DH got this for me for Christmas and it was nice quick read the day after.
The second book, was one I borrowed from my mother-in-law while visiting her this past weekend. The book was called One for the Money by Janet Evanovich and is a part of the Stephanie Plum Series. It is a hilarious murder-mystery that takes place in the mid-1990's in New Jersey. The main character Stephanie Plum is an absolute crack-up. After going through some desparate times after losing her job as discount lingerie buyer, she goes to work as a bounty hunter for her cousin Vinnie's bail bonding company. As a murder-mystery novel, it has it tense, hold-your-breath moments, but it isn't so scary that you are afraid to turn out the lights and go to bed.
Anyhow, here is my list for 2008. Seeing as tomorrow is that last day of the year, I think this will be it.
